Hello Hello!

First of all, allow me to apologize for completely dropping off of the face of the earth! Things have gone completely manic for me these days and I have not been trying to even open my laptop. Let's be honest, when I put the kids to bed at half seven, I'm usually going to bed right along with them.

I know I'm only 25 but taking care of four kids day in and day out is exhausting!

I am going to update this weekend (aiming for later as I'm running behind at the moment and should already be out of the house!) because there are things I'd like to just get out so I'm not bottling everything up. The post will probably be a long one so I hope that you have your reading glasses (and drinks) ready.

If ever I needed a sign that this thing with London and I is definitely over, this would be it:

There it is, the way he feels, in black and white. No matter what he may say next week or next month, THIS is what I need to remember.

Wanderlust Wednesday: Aruba!

Aruba has long since been on my travel-list. One of my best friends and I have talked about taking a trip there since the beginning of high school (circa 2000!). I think it's about high time that we get our ish together and take that trip!

I know I haven't written in a while and it's probably bad form to start writing again with emotional drivel as I'm about to do. However, you know what? I don't care. I need to write so I don't spend another night curled up in my bed in tears, crying myself to sleep.

This is going to be a post about London. Yes, the ex who I just cannot seem to shake out of my system.  I guess the best place to start would be at the beginning. Okay, so maybe not RIGHT at the beginning, but how about the beginning of 2012....

Music Monday: Halestorm

Hello, hello!

I'm going to get back into my blogging regularly for sure. I've realized just how much I miss it. It isn't that I haven't been writing these past few months; I just haven't been posting anything up. I will explain it all in a later post. For tonight though, I'm bringing back Music Monday! 

I absolutely love music and believe that it can help get you through almost anything that is going on in your life. My musical taste varies depending on my mood. Tonight, I was just randomly listening to songs on YouTube when this song popped into my head. It has now firmly implanted itself into my brain for the night but I do not mind one bit as I do adore this song. I hope you will enjoy it as well! :-)

Wanderlust Wednesday: Avignon

It's been a mighty long time since I've updated. I'm going to ease back into it all with a short post/segment today. I want to pick back up where I left off with places I'd like to visit around the world through Wanderlust Wednesday's.

Each week will feature somewhere different and will have photos of the places in question. To start us off this week, it's somewhere that I've been before but would like to go back and spend more time: Avignon!

Oh. My. Word!

It's been over a month since I updated. I sincerely apologize but I've been settling into my role as an au pair in the UK. I will tr my best to get a post up this weekend as I do have things to write about. :-)

Just a heads up that I will not be updating for a few days as I'm leaving tonight for the UK. I will be living there for the next 16 months or 24 months depending on how things play out.

I'm a big mess of every emotion known to man right now and all I want to do is scream.

To You, From Me

Dear London,

I've chosen to express myself in written form because it ensures that I get across everything I want to say. It also aides me in not jumbling all of my thoughts together in what could be a very incoherent mess. So, here goes -

I miss you. I miss us. I miss what we used to have and what we were building towards. I honestly thought there was another chance for us to start anew because we both wanted it and were willing to put in the effort. However, I cannot help but feel that I was the only one who really was serious and ready to put in the effort. That I was (and still am) the one willing to fight for us. Does that make me stupid? Maybe. Am I following my heart? Definitely. Should I be following my heart so blindly? Probably not.

R.I.P.

I just got the news that my uncle Dudley who was sick (and who we've been waiting to hear what was medically wrong), passed away an hour ago. The only good thing is that he is no longer in pain.

I love you so much and will miss you uncle. <3
